Chrome, Edge o Brave en el ordenador. Con Witifier Web, además, una cuenta de Google. Con Witifier App, Windows 10/11 (Mac y Linux en beta, con Node.js 20+) y una suscripción a Claude Pro o Max.

¿Cómo instalo la extensión mientras no está en la Chrome Web Store?How do I install the extension while it isn’t in the Chrome Web Store?
1) Descarga witifier-extension.zip y descomprímelo en una carpeta que no vayas a borrar. 2) Abre chrome://extensions y activa el Modo de desarrollador (arriba a la derecha). 3) Pulsa Cargar descomprimida y elige la carpeta que contiene manifest.json.
1) Download witifier-extension.zip and unzip it into a folder you won’t delete. 2) Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode (top right). 3) Click Load unpacked and pick the folder that contains manifest.json.

Descarga el zip nuevo, descomprímelo en la misma carpeta (sustituyendo los archivos), ve a chrome://extensions y pulsa ↻ en Witifier. Después recarga las pestañas de Meet, Teams, Zoom o YouTube que tuvieras abiertas.
Download the new zip, unzip it into the same folder (replacing the files), go to chrome://extensions and click ↻ on Witifier. Then reload any Meet, Teams, Zoom or YouTube tabs you had open.
¿Cómo elijo entre Witifier Web y Witifier App?How do I choose between Witifier Web and Witifier App?
Al instalar la extensión se abre su página de bienvenida. Si la cerraste: clic derecho en el icono de Witifier → Opciones. Puedes cambiar de una a otra cuando quieras.

💬 Subtítulos e idioma💬 Captions and language
¿Por qué necesita Witifier los subtítulos?Why does Witifier need captions?
Witifier no graba ni escucha el audio: lee los subtítulos que la propia plataforma pinta en la pantalla. Sin subtítulos encendidos no hay nada que leer y no salen ideas.
Witifier doesn’t record or listen to audio: it reads the captions the platform shows on screen. With captions off there’s nothing to read, so no ideas.
Salen frases sin sentido o en otro idiomaI get nonsense or the wrong language
Casi seguro que los subtítulos están configurados en un idioma distinto del que se habla. Cámbialo: Meet: Más opciones (⋮) → Configuración → Subtítulos → Idioma de la reunión. Teams: en la barra de subtítulos, ⚙ → Configuración de idioma → Idioma hablado. Zoom: flecha ^ junto a Subtítulos → Idioma hablado. YouTube: ⚙ → Subtítulos → el idioma original (no «Traducción automática»).
Captions are almost certainly set to a different language from the one being spoken. Change it: Meet: More options (⋮) → Settings → Captions → Meeting language. Teams: captions bar ⚙ → Language settings → Spoken language. Zoom: ^ next to Captions → Speaking language. YouTube: ⚙ → Subtitles → the original language (not “Auto-translate”).
¿En qué idioma salen las ideas?Which language are the ideas in?
En el idioma en que se habla en la conversación (Witifier lo detecta). El recuadro puede estar en español o en inglés: Ajustes → Idioma.

Google MeetGoogle Meet
Entra en la llamada en Chrome y activa los subtítulos (botón CC o tecla C). Witifier intenta encenderlos solo al entrar y, si están apagados, muestra una franja amarilla con el botón «Activar subtítulos».
Join the call in Chrome and turn on captions (CC button or the C key). Witifier tries to turn them on when you join and shows a yellow banner with a “Turn on captions” button if they’re off.
Microsoft TeamsMicrosoft Teams
Funciona en el navegador (teams.live.com y teams.microsoft.com). Subtítulos: Más (···) → Idioma y voz → Mostrar subtítulos en directo; truco: Configuración → Accesibilidad → «Mostrar siempre subtítulos». Teams pone tu nombre completo en tus frases: escríbelo en Ajustes → Avanzado → «Tu nombre» para que Witifier sepa cuáles son tuyas.
Works in the browser (teams.live.com and teams.microsoft.com). Captions: More (···) → Language and speech → Show live captions; tip: Settings → Accessibility → “Always show captions”. Teams labels your lines with your full name: type it in Settings → Advanced → “Your name” so Witifier knows which lines are yours.
ZoomZoom
Funciona en el navegador («Unirse desde el navegador», app.zoom.us). Subtítulos: Más (···) → Mostrar subtítulos; Witifier intenta hacerlo solo. Zoom no dice quién habla, así que Witifier sigue la conversación pero no distingue tus frases.
Works in the browser (“Join from your browser”, app.zoom.us). Captions: More (···) → Show captions; Witifier tries to do it for you. Zoom doesn’t say who’s talking, so Witifier follows the conversation but can’t tell your lines apart.
YouTubeYouTube
Witifier enciende los subtítulos del vídeo solo. Si el vídeo no tiene (pasa en muchos directos), verás el aviso «Este vídeo no tiene subtítulos».
Witifier turns the video’s captions on by itself. If the video has none (common with live streams), you’ll see “This video has no captions”.
¿Y la app de escritorio de Zoom o Teams?What about the Zoom or Teams desktop apps?
La extensión solo funciona en el navegador. Para las apps de escritorio usa Witifier App (Windows) con el botón «Todo el ordenador»: lee los Subtítulos en directo de Windows (Win+Ctrl+L, actívalos una vez y marca «Incluir audio del micrófono»).
The extension only works in the browser. For desktop apps use Witifier App (Windows) with “Whole PC”: it reads Windows Live Captions (Win+Ctrl+L, enable them once and tick “Include microphone audio”).
🛠 No me funciona🛠 Troubleshooting
No aparece el recuadro de WitifierThe Witifier box doesn’t show up
1) Comprueba que estás en Meet, Teams, Zoom (navegador) o un vídeo de YouTube. 2) Si acabas de instalar o actualizar la extensión, recarga la pestaña (Chrome no la mete en pestañas que ya estaban abiertas). 3) Si lo minimizaste (–), pulsa su cabecera para abrirlo. 4) En chrome://extensions, que Witifier esté activada.
1) Make sure you’re on Meet, Teams, Zoom (browser) or a YouTube video. 2) If you just installed or updated the extension, reload the tab (Chrome doesn’t inject it into tabs that were already open). 3) If you minimized it (–), click its header. 4) In chrome://extensions, check Witifier is enabled.

Escucha pero no salen ideasIt’s listening but no ideas appear
Witifier solo sopla cuando hay algo bueno que decir: espera unos segundos tras una frase o pulsa ¡AYÚDAME! (Alt+Shift+W). Si el interruptor dice ▶ ACTIVAR, está en pausa (se pausa solo a los 90 minutos). Revisa también que en «Para qué» y «Conocimiento / Ingenio» no hayas dejado apagado lo que buscas.
Witifier only whispers when there’s something good to say: wait a few seconds after a sentence or press HELP ME (Alt+Shift+W). If the switch says ▶ TURN ON, it’s paused (it auto-pauses after 90 minutes). Also check “Purpose” and “Knowledge / Wit” aren’t switched off.
«Witifier no está abierto» (Witifier App)“Witifier isn’t running” (Witifier App)

The app isn’t running. Open it from the Witifier icon on your desktop or in the Windows Start menu (or the launcher on Mac/Linux). If you use Witifier Web, switch the extension to “Witifier Web” in its Options.
«Sin conexión con Witifier Web»“Can’t reach Witifier Web”
Revisa tu conexión a internet. Si sigue, espera un minuto: el recuadro reintenta solo. Si usas una VPN o una red de empresa muy cerrada, puede estar bloqueando api.witifier.com.
Check your internet connection. If it continues, wait a minute: the box retries by itself. A VPN or a locked-down company network may be blocking api.witifier.com.
Las ideas van muy lentasIdeas are slow
Prueba el nivel Medio (más rápido) en el botón 🧠 del recuadro. En Witifier App, comprueba que no tengas muchas otras sesiones de Claude abiertas.
Try the Medium level (faster) from the 🧠 button. In Witifier App, make sure you don’t have many other Claude sessions running.
Windows dice «Windows protegió su PC» al abrir Witifier.exeWindows says “Windows protected your PC” when opening Witifier.exe
Es el aviso normal de cualquier programa nuevo sin firma de pago. Pulsa Más información → Ejecutar de todas formas.
That’s the usual warning for any new app without a paid signature. Click More info → Run anyway.

¿Cómo entro?How do I sign in?
En la extensión: Opciones → Witifier Web → «Entrar con Google». En la web: Mi cuenta. Son entradas independientes: entra con la misma cuenta de Google en las dos.
In the extension: Options → Witifier Web → “Sign in with Google”. On the website: My account. They’re separate sign-ins: use the same Google account in both.
¿Cómo se cuentan los minutos?How are minutes counted?
Cuenta un minuto por cada minuto en que llegan subtítulos y Witifier está activo; en pausa no gasta. El nivel Superinteligente gasta 2 minutos por minuto, Inteligente 1 y Medio 0,25. Prueba gratis: 5 minutos. Suscripción: 6 horas al mes, que se renuevan cada mes.
One minute for each minute captions arrive while Witifier is on; paused uses nothing. Super smart uses 2 minutes per minute, Smart 1 and Medium 0.25. Free trial: 5 minutes. Subscription: 6 hours a month, renewed monthly.

¿Cómo me suscribo, cambio la tarjeta o me doy de baja?How do I subscribe, change my card or cancel?
En Mi cuenta o en las Opciones de la extensión: «Suscribirme» (pago con Stripe) y, ya suscrito, «Gestionar suscripción» para cambiar la tarjeta, ver facturas o cancelar. Al cancelar, sigues hasta el final del periodo pagado.
In My account or the extension’s Options: “Subscribe” (paid via Stripe) and, once subscribed, “Manage subscription” to change your card, see invoices or cancel. When you cancel you keep access until the end of the paid period.
¿Cómo borro mi cuenta y mis reuniones?How do I delete my account and meetings?
Opciones de la extensión → «Borrar mi cuenta y mis reuniones» (si tienes suscripción, cancélala antes). Se borran tu cuenta, ajustes y reuniones guardadas.
Extension Options → “Delete my account and meetings” (cancel any subscription first). Your account, settings and saved meetings are deleted.

¿Qué es Claude Code y por qué lo necesito?What is Claude Code and why do I need it?
Es el programa oficial de Anthropic con el que Witifier App usa tu suscripción de Claude Pro o Max, sin pagar API. El panel de bienvenida lo instala con un botón y te pide entrar con tu cuenta de Claude.
It’s Anthropic’s official tool that lets Witifier App use your Claude Pro or Max subscription, with no API bills. The welcome panel installs it with one button and asks you to sign in to Claude.
¿Dónde se guardan mis reuniones?Where are my meetings saved?
En tu ordenador, en Documentos\Witifier (Windows) o en la carpeta de Witifier (Mac/Linux). Desde el panel: Biblioteca → «Carpeta de reuniones».
On your computer, in Documents\Witifier (Windows) or the Witifier folder (Mac/Linux). From the panel: Library → “Meetings folder”.
«Has llegado a tu límite de uso de Claude»“You’ve hit your Claude usage limit”
Tu plan de Claude ha llegado a su límite temporal. Witifier se pausa solo; pulsa ▶ ACTIVAR cuando se renueve, o usa el nivel Medio, que gasta menos.
Your Claude plan reached its temporary limit. Witifier pauses itself; press ▶ TURN ON when it renews, or use Medium, which uses less.
¿Cómo actualizo Witifier App?How do I update Witifier App?
Se actualiza solo. Cuando sale una versión nueva, Witifier la descarga y te avisa arriba del panel con una franja verde: pulsa «Actualizar ahora» y en unos segundos está cambiado. Si no pulsas, se pone sola la próxima vez que abras Witifier. No pierdes ajustes ni reuniones. (Las versiones anteriores a la 1.5.19 no lo hacían: descarga la última una vez desde Empezar y ábrela.)
It updates itself. When a new version is out, Witifier downloads it and shows a green bar at the top of the panel: click “Update now” and it switches in a few seconds. If you don’t, it installs itself next time you open Witifier. Your settings and meetings are kept. (Versions before 1.5.19 didn’t do this: download the latest once from Get started and open it.)
Mi antivirus analiza Witifier.exe o avisa de que es poco comúnMy antivirus scans Witifier.exe or says it’s uncommon
Es normal con programas nuevos: Avast, Windows SmartScreen y otros antivirus analizan los programas que aún tienen pocas descargas, sobre todo justo después de cada versión nueva. Witifier no tiene nada malicioso y el análisis termina diciendo que es seguro. En SmartScreen pulsa «Más información» → «Ejecutar de todas formas».
That’s normal with new apps: Avast, Windows SmartScreen and other antivirus tools scan programs that still have few downloads, especially right after each new version. Witifier contains nothing malicious and the scan ends saying it’s safe. In SmartScreen click “More info” → “Run anyway”.
